How it works

An induction cooker (unlike a gas and electric cooker which creates heat on the stove itself which then in turn heats the pan) aims to heat the pan directly through electromagnetic energy. 

This magnetic energy interacts directly with induction-compatible cookware to make it hot. Because induction skips the step of heating the cooktop, it is safer and more energy efficient.
