As a type of portable kitchen air cleaner, both Original AirHood and AirHood 2 work effectively to reduce cooking fumes and odors. To ensure a fresher cooking environment, both models are equipped with dual filter technology, featuring one Oil Filter and one Activated Charcoal Filter. Both AirHood models are also adjustable in height with the Base Boost accessory, which is specifically designed for each version.

These accessories are available for both AirHood models:

• Spare Oil Filter: With a spare oil filter, you can enjoy cooking with AirHood while waiting for the other oil filter to be washed. Our oil filter is hand-washable and dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup.
• Spare Charcoal Filter Pack: Each filter provides up to 100 hours of effective use, ideal for college dorms or small kitchens.
• Base Boost (sold separately)*: If you are cooking a big pot quite often, you can easily adjust your unit height by increasing your unit by 2 inches to make it even more fit for hot pot or indoor grilling.

While both models are offered in corded versions, the AirHood 2 includes a cordless option upon purchase of the Battery Pack accessory—perfect for tabletop cooking.

Some cooking styles also produce more smoke and odors. Luckily, both AirHood models are equipped with 3 adjustable speed settings to meet diverse cooking needs. When it comes to particularly strong smells, such as those from fish, the AirHood 2 even comes with a turbo mode, making it ideal for smoke- and grease-intensive cooking situations.

In addition, to enhance your post-cooking experience, the AirHood 2 features significant improvements. The front lid is now dishwasher-safe, making cleanup a breeze. It also has a timer function, allowing the unit to continue running for an additional 10 minutes after you finish cooking, ensuring that lingering smoke and particles are effectively removed from the air.
